Warehouse Manager

Role Purpose:
To plan and supervise the receiving, handling, delivery and storage of stocks for company customers in an efficient way to ensure stock accuracy and quality assurance standards strictly implemented according to space management and company procedures with minimum cost.
Key Accountabilities:
Resource, planning and utilization:Plans the daily distribution of resources among receiving, storage and delivery operations in order to maximize warehouse staff productivity and storage efficiencyManages the multiple warehouse locations across the geography in order to ensure smooth operationsStock Accuracy and cycle count:Ensures the accurate counting and documentation of all receiving, handling and dispatch of goods in order to maintain stock accuracy.Ensures that all inventory transactions are daily updated on the system.Ensures that cycle count takes place on daily basis in a way that covers all SKU’s once per monthOversees and manages the mid-year and end year cycle count in order to ensure accuracyStorage and handling of goods:Supervises the WH cleaning and housekeeping operations to ensure overall cleanliness and odorless at all timesEnsures that products are stored in the designated locations according to Company procedures and that the Warehouse damages are reducedEnsures date and lot recording for products with expiry date is being implemented and FIFO procedures are strictly followed within WMSComplies with quality assurance standards in order to achieve target score. Control, Safety, Security & MaintenanceEnsures proper training to reporting staff on implementation of safety and security procedures to eliminate accidents and pilferageCarries out periodic checks on warehouse building, racking, and equipment to assess maintenance and repair requirementsCustomer ServiceExpenses:Establishes & controls a set of KPI’s including trailer hiring, daily labors, picking productivity, Warehouse, delivery routes and fleet utilization in order to manage warehousing costsRecommends plans/ projects in order to optimize storage and delivery cost
Role Requirements:University graduate in business/Logistic, Supply chain 7 – 10 years of experience in a similar environment Excellent computer skills: Excel Moderate accounting skillsGood reporting skills
