ABOUT SHANShan Hanif is the Founder and CEO of Genflow, one of the world's leading creator agencies working with some of the biggest names in content creation, including Iman Gadzhi, Chris Williamson, Grace Beverley, Jun Yuh, Ali Abdaal, James Smith and many more.
Shan creates content focused on business strategy, the creator economy, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, sharing his insights across YouTube, Instagram, Threads and X.
We are now looking for a highly operations-focused Social Media Manager to take ownership of Shan's personal social channels, managing the end-to-end content pipeline so that Shan can focus on creating, while everything else runs smoothly behind the scenes.
ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be the engine behind Shan's personal content, ensuring that content is planned, scripted, approved, edited, scheduled, and published on time across all platforms.
You will own the content calendar, manage relationships with the wider content team (editors, designers, videographers, scriptwriters), hold everyone accountable to deadlines, and ensure Shan's content strategy is executed consistently and accurately across every platform.
The perfect candidate will have a genuine instinct for social media, understanding what performs, what gets repurposed, and how to extract maximum value from Shan's existing and ongoing content library while maintaining a relentless focus on operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESContent Operations & Calendar ManagementOwn and manage Shan's master content calendar across all platforms: Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and X.Ensure all content is planned, briefed, scripted, reviewed, approved, edited, and scheduled on time.Build and maintain a repeatable, scalable content workflow that keeps all stakeholders accountable.Manage Shan's following strategy, researching & identifying the right accounts to follow and engaging strategically to build Shan's presence & credibility with the audiences that matter most.Proactively flag risks, delays, or bottlenecks in the pipeline and resolve them before they become an issue.Cross-Team CoordinationAct as the central point of contact between Shan and the wider content team Inc editors, scriptwriters, designers, and videographers.Run weekly content planning and delivery check-ins to ensure everything is on track.Brief team members on upcoming content requirements, deadlines, and platform-specific specsChase approvals and sign-offs proactively.Scheduling & PublishingSchedule and publish content across Instagram, Threads and X ensuring content goes live at the right time, in the right format, with correct copy, tags, and platform-specific optimisations.Repurpose long-form content (YouTube, podcasts, interviews) into short-form clips, Reels, and platform-native posts.Maintain a bank of repurposed content to keep posting frequency consistent even during lighter production weeks.Strategy ExecutionDeeply understand Shan's content strategy and ensure every piece of content that goes live is aligned with it.Work with Shan to ensure messaging, tone, and positioning are consistent across all platforms.Spot opportunities to maximise reach and engagement by adapting content for each platform's algorithm and audience.Analytics & ReportingProduce a weekly social analytics report covering key performance metrics across all platforms.Translate data into clear, actionable insights that inform future content decisions.Track growth targets and keep Shan updated on progress towards aggressive follower growth goals.

ABOUT YOUExperience & SkillsProven experience managing high-volume social media content across multiple platforms simultaneously.Strong ops mindset: you build systems, holds others to timelines, and takes ownership without being chased.Hands-on experience scheduling & publishing content.Experience working alongside a content production team (editors, videographers, designers).Confident interpreting social analytics & translating into a clear weekly reports & actions.Deep familiarity with Instagram and Threads, including platform-specific best practices, formats & algorithms.Strong attention to detail: ensuring the best quality content is delivered at all times.Genuine interest in entrepreneurship, business, and the creator economy.Experience repurposing long-form video content into short-form clips and platform-native formats.Previous experience working in the creator economy or personal brand space is ideal.Understanding of social growth strategies and short form content optimisation.
