Role Description We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Dallas, TX. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative orthopedic products. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing product designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine designs, conducting performance tests, and improving product functionality. The role also involves problem-solving, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the manufacturing process to achieve product quality and performance goals.
Qualifications Strong expertise in Design Engineering and Product DesignProficiency in New Product Development Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (SolidWorks)Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage design projects from conception to completionProblem-solving skills and knowledge in quality standards specific to the orthopedic or medical device industryA Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related fieldStrong understanding of soft good materials (neoprene, spacer fabric, foam, hook and loop, knit, polymers, silicone, etc.)
