What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Provide excellent customer service by phone, assisting patients with billing and insurance inquiries Research and resolve patient account issues to ensure accurate billing Update insurance information and rebill claims as necessary Generate and send itemized statements or courtesy claims to patients Accurately document all patient interactions while maintaining professionalism and empathy

What Is Required (Qualifications)

High school diploma or GED Strong verbal communication and listening skills Ability to multitask: listen, speak, and type simultaneously Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and computer-based systems Previous customer service, call center, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare environment Familiarity with billing and insurance processes Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Knowledge of patient payment plans and account management
