What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist patients with insurance verification and documentation, ensuring accurate capture of demographics and benefits eligibility Schedule clinical services while confirming patient details and available times Provide exceptional customer service, guiding patients through financial responsibilities and pre-registration requirements Enter patient and insurance data accurately into relevant systems, including procedure codes and authorizations Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies regarding patient information

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in patient access, financial services, or healthcare-related roles Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of insurance protocols Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

2-3 years of experience in patient access or healthcare roles Knowledge of hospital billing requirements and documentation processes Familiarity with Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA regulations Bilingual skills are a plus
