What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and other communications with patients and healthcare providers Register patients, schedule appointments, and update patient information Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff, addressing inquiries and concerns Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Assist with electronic health record management and respond to patient messages

What Is Required (Qualifications)

High school graduate or equivalent Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training 1 year of patient care experience in a medical office Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and telephone communication Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of practice management systems

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

1 year of call center and/or patient access experience preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes
