What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist with legal inquiries from staff and take the lead on client requests Intake new cases, verify information, and draft cases in the employer's system Assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on various requirements Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding case progress and documentation Monitor and track case deadlines to ensure timely completion
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Associate's Degree preferred Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage time efficiently Proficient computer literacy and typing skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience supporting litigation or as a legal assistant Familiarity with workflow processes in a legal or healthcare context Experience working alongside defense counsel Knowledge of regulations relevant to the legal services industry Ability to handle sensitive case matters with discretion and empathy
