About This Role

About the Role
Ensuring smooth running of all computers, printers, systems, applications, platforms, networks, communication and ensuring that users have the maximum support to do their work and resolve all matters within the set service levels.
Responsibilities

Plan, organize, control and evaluate the operations of information systems including hardware, software, networks and communication.Manage the data center in terms of maintaining systems running and providing network access and monitor the security aspects.Implement helpdesk solutions and tools and update them as needed.Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.Walk through the users through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone.Troubleshooting system, network, and hardware/software faults, and provide recommendations that help prevent similar issues.Maintenance of printers and inks change.Preparing equipment’s like data show and laptops for meetings and events.Implement service levels according to the set policy.Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.Maintain the inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.Ensure security of data, network access.Coordinate with IT team for problem resolution.Prepare written specifications for required hardware and software.Update the Center website with latest news, videos and other materials.
Qualifications
B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.1 year of experience.
Required Skills

Relevant certificates are a plus.
