About This Role

Accountabilities and Key Roles:Develop Group IT audit policies and guidelines aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the IT audit plan, with a focus on technology risks and critical systems.Ensure completion of specialized IT audit assignments according to plan and Internal Audit policies, emphasizing IT processes, controls, and security.Deliver high-quality IT audit reports in line with established policies and guidelines, clearly presenting findings related to information systems and technology risks.Address and track all IT-related audit findings, risks, and notes through to resolution.Plan and organize IT audit programs to provide regular and thorough coverage of technology-related units, functions, and processes.Oversee the Bank’s adherence to IT policies, SOPs, and internal technology standards.Manage IT audit assignments by identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing technical evidence, and ensuring high-quality audit findings and recommendations.Liaise with other audit units to provide comprehensive IT audit coverage and avoid overlaps.Coordinate with audited parties’ IT management to facilitate audit progress.Guide and support the IT audit team in resolving and escalating technology-related issues.Present IT audit findings to the Head of Internal Audit.Review quarterly progress reports on IT audit activities and the status of audit observations.Recommend improvements to internal IT audit procedures to ensure quality and cost-effective service.Lead and mentor the IT audit team in adopting advanced digital auditing concepts and integrating new technologies into audit activities.
Job Requirements:EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT (Information Technology) from a recognized university. CIA / CISA or other equivalent IT audit professional qualification is required.
Experience12 - 18 years of banking or IT experience, of which at least 8 must be in Internal Auditing, IT Auditing, or a relevant banking technology practice.
CompetenciesFluent in English & Arabic.Experience in planning and executing IT audit assignments and handling multiple tasks and deadlines.Proven skill in negotiating IT issues and resolving audit-related problems.Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.Strong technology and digital skills.Good knowledge of IT audit best practices and standards.
