An employee in this position performs tasks involving overseeing site work and system operations. This includes supervising work performed by laborers or operators, servicing landfill gas flares, pumps, and controls, performing inspections, troubleshooting, taking readings, and various other duties as assigned.

Oversees work done on-siteAssesses job priorities and makes decisions accordinglyCommunicates with supervisors regarding project progressGives instructions on what tasks need to be doneEnsures timely completion of projectsMaintains records and logs of work performed and materials and equipment usedUnderstands pump controls and piping configurationsUnderstands how SCADA systems operatePerforms various inspectionsPerforms various maintenance tasksUnderstands basic electrical safety requirementsUnderstands landfill drawings and layoutsUnderstands how to use equipment used on siteInventories and requests equipment and supplies as neededComplies with and enforces company policies and procedures with an emphasis in safetyWelds HDPE pipe and fittingsExtrusion welds HDPE liner materialUnderstands and implements lock-out / tag-out procedures
Qualifications
High school education.Minimum of 5 years relevant construction experience.Experience leading a construction crewLeadership and strong collaboration skills.Customer/Client Focus.Decision Making.Ethical Conduct.Problem Solving.Project Management.
