Job Title
PhD R&D Consultant (Project-Based Collaboration)
Salary Range
¥700,000 – ¥1,200,000 RMB per year (approximately $97,000 – $166,000 USD)
This is a temporary/contract engagement, with compensation prorated based on project scope and time commitment.

About This Role
We are seeking PhD-level professionals in science and engineering disciplines to collaborate with our client’s research initiatives on a part-time or consulting basis. This remote role offers the flexibility to contribute to meaningful projects while maintaining your current commitments, with compensation commensurate with your expertise.

What We Are Looking For
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support R&D projects in priority fields such as:
Biomedical Science, Physics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, New Energy Batteries, Autonomous Driving, Industrial Software, Drones, Automatic Rail Transit, Geographic Information Surveying, and Mechanical Manufacturing.
- Provide technical insights, experimental design, and solutions to advance project milestones.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to align research with commercial applications.
- Contribute to patentable innovations and support technology transfer strategies.

Ideal Profile
- PhD in a Science or Engineering discipline, with specialization in one or more of the fields listed above.
- At least 3 years of post-PhD experience in industry, academia, or an R&D institution.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage project timelines effectively.
- Deep expertise in at least one core technology area (e.g., AI algorithms, battery R&D, autonomous systems).
